Then, We provide you with a series of recommendations to achieve good sleep hygiene, given that in these times that we are living it is normal that we have difficulties to fall asleep or maintain sleep.

1. Intentar dormir y levantarse siempre a las mismas horas.

Esto incluye también a los fines de semana. Establecer una rutina y un horario de sueño es fundamental para asegurar que se descansa las horas aconsejables para rendir en el día a día. Acotarse todos los días a la misma hora y levantarse igual.

2. Hacer lo mismo siempre antes de ir a dormir.

Igual que con los niños seguir un ritual diario ayuda a que el cuerpo de forma mecánica reconozca y anticipe el siguiente paso previo a dormir. Un ejemplo: read 30 minutos, beber infusiones, lavarse los dientes, ponerse el pijama y acostarse. Repitiendo este proceso a diario hace que el cerebro y el cuerpo sepa que viene a continuación. De esta forma se va preparando para el descanso, lo que favorecerá la conciliación del sueño más rápidamente.

3. Hacer ejercicio.

Realizar algún tipo de actividad física a diario ayuda a dormir mejor, que el cuerpo se relaje, descanse y sobre todo a conciliar el sueño. No hace falta realizar ejercicios muy fuertes o potentes que cansen en exceso el cuerpo. Con realizar pequeñas actividades como pasear es suficiente para que el cuerpo se mantenga activo y funcione mejor. Muy IMPORTANTE: realizar ejercicio SIEMPRE por la mañana. El motivo: la actividad física ayuda a que nuestro cuerpo se active, y no es recomendable tener esa actividad en la noche puesto que sería contraproducente para una buena higiene del sueño.

4. Ejercicios de concentración.

Dedicar un tiempo antes de ir a dormir a relajarse es una buena práctica para conseguir dormir. Ejercicios de concentración, memorización, atención o meditación, son algunos ejemplos. Xuan Lang es una chica que tiene un canal de youtube con ejercicios de meditación y yoga.

5. No remolonear a la hora de levantarse.

Cuando nos suena la alarma y nos despertamos hay que levantarse inmediatamente. Si quieres disfrutar de un sueño reparador debes dejar atrás las excusas y remoloneos antes de levantarnos. No volver a acostarse hasta la hora de dormir, por muy cansada que se esté ayudará a regular mejor la calidad de tu descanso.

6. Cuidado con lo que comes.

No ingerir comidas copiosas o alimentos pesados para la cena. Optar por tomar cosas ligeras que no interrumpan nuestro sueño. On the other hand, se desaconseja el consumo de alimentos justo antes de acostarse. Ya que se inicia el proceso de digestión y esto puede retrasar la conciliación del sueño, además de proporcionar malestar. Una buena temperatura no debe ser ni muy fría ni muy cálida.

8. Periodo de inactividad.

Mantener un periodo de inactividad y relajación ayuda a que el cuerpo se prepare para la fase de sueño y descanso. La televisión, el ordenador o los dispositivos portátiles deben utilizarse mucho antes de irse a la cama.
